Tomek Rygalik
The author of the Shieldon chair project, Tomek Rygalik, studied architecture at the Lodz University of Technology and design at the Pratt Institute in New York. After working for design companies in the US for several years, he went on to study at the Royal College of Art in London, where he became an academic after receiving his degree. His achievements include many international awards and completed projects. He runs his Rygalik Studio in Warsaw.
